The partnership between BMW and Alpina goes back over 50 years to 1962 when a Weber dual carburetor was developed for the new BMW 1500. As time went on Alpina moved from supplied aftermarket parts for BMW vehicles to taking factory vehicles and improving their performance then unleashing the upgraded cars into the world. Flash forward to 2014 and the partnership between the two companies is as strong as ever.
The BMW B6 Alpina is the latest offering from the Germany company. Starting life as a BMW 6 series sedan, Alpina bumps the horsepower from 445 to a whopping 540 with their upgraded turbo system.
