Toyota has announced that they will be bringing two of their SEMA builds to the 2014 Portland International Auto Show to be on display in the Toyota booth. The first car we are excited to announce is the triathlon themed Life Time Fitness RAV4.
This one of a kind modified RAV4 allows triathlon athletes to “Rise, Race and Repeat” all by using their Rav4. Built into the interior of the car is a shower, Blendtech® Blender with cupboard full of snacks, and an integrated iPad with Bluetooth® connectivity. A custom roof rack keeps two bikes secure, yet easily accessible.
Haskins is one of the top female triathletes in the United States with 29 professional wins and competing on the 2008 U.S. Olympic triathlon team. “This fun RAV4 brings together a triathlete’s passion for a healthy, active lifestyle and the drive for pushing ourselves to race faster and smarter,” Haskins said. “The cutting-edge tools incorporated in the vehicle will help us continue to build our racing skills, while enabling us to relax a little too.”
After its display at SEMA and the 2014 Portland Auto Show, the Life Time Fitness RAV4 will support Toyota-sponsored athletes at select events.
